The INTERREG projects LABEL and SAWA deal with flood risk management in different program areas. With the joint conference a detailed exchange between the activities of the projects, its project partners and with third parties in the form of a two-day event is aimed at.

A date has now been established: on 14^th to 15^th June 2011 the Ministry of Urban Development and Environment of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and the Saxon State Ministry of the Interior organize the conference with their 42 project partners from eight countries and with support of the German Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Environment (BMVBS).
