A joint workshop with LABEL members of WG RISK and the INTERREG IVC project Flood-Wise took place on September 27th 2011 in Pirna, Germany. The focus was laid on the flood risk management experiences for the Elbe catchment that were gained during the project implementation. Both projects aim at improving flood risk management across borders, but on different levels: while LABEL is mostly working in the Elbe catchment area, Flood-Wise regards different european river catchments, such as the Rur or Maas - but also the Elbe.
