The results of the saxon pilot action „Implementation of municipalities in flood risk management” show that municipal planning, water management and regional planning have to work closer together to reach permanent success in flood risk prevention. To possibly integrate all vulnerable municipalities of the region into the discussion about adaptation of land use, a brochure has been developed which lucidly explains the circumstance and shows possibilities for changes in planning.

The brochure titled: “Mit Sicherheit wächst der Schaden? Überlegungen zum Umgang mit Hochwasser in der räumlichen Planung“ has now been finished and is available to download here (only available in German and Czech).
