During the last Steering Group meeting at the 9th and 10th August 2012 in Dresden, several LABEL project partners have agreed to continue the established network and furthermore work towards the sustainable development of the Elbe catchment jointly!

Initially, topics and tasks were collected that make an ongoing transnational cooperation necessary:  apart from different aspects in flood risk management, also topics like climate change, flash floods and low water were named. A first coordination meeting after the end of the project LABEL will be organized by the Czech Ministry for the Environment in the early 2013.

The Partnership discussed moreover during the Steering Group meeting details on the project closure and drew conclusions of the work done. The report of the meeting will soon be available here.
